The blades, springs, massive stainless steel bolsters and nails are made at the Laguiole en Aubrac forge.

The Laguiole en Aubrac Balbach folding knife has excellent cutting properties, very fine structure and high hardness after quenching (up to 63 HRC).

This carbon damascus steel is not sensitive to deformation during heat treatment.
Composed of 90McV8 (O2), shade with deep blacks and 45NCD16 with 4% nickel, the Carbon damask offers very contrasting patterns.

Very nice finish for this Laguiole knife which is sober and elegant at the same time.
