Pocket knife stylized by the artist Nokat
The style of Nokat, a French artist based in Auvergne, draws inspiration from the pop culture of the 80s and 90s.
The handle of this piece of cutlery transforms into a work of art where Nokat depicts human and animal silhouettes.
Proud of her region and its know-how in cutlery, Nokat imagined her knife as the fusion between the work of the artist and the craftsman.
The retractable folding blade inside the handle of Le Coq Français knives is made from Z40C13 stainless steel. The stainless steel handle and blade have a satin finish. The handle is sublimated by printing, offering vibrant colors and a precise reproduction of Nokat’s work. Each spare part (blade, plate and stainless steel handle) is entirely manufactured in France and machined in Thiers, the cutlery capital. The assembly and sharpening of Le Coq Français knives are also carried out by hand in France, in Thiers.
The mechanism of Le Coq Français folding knives rests on a liner located at the heel of the blade, decorated with an openwork design of the rooster.
